SeaRates Updates - Week 11, 2024

The SeaRates team is deeply thankful for your support and encouragement. We are always looking to improve our platform to provide the best service possible. We are happy to present you with our updates and believe that they will be useful for you.

To keep informed about our latest updates, be sure to check out our previous updates.

What's new for week 11:

  • We are pleased to introduce you to the NEW Distance & Time API Version 3.0. From now on, you will benefit from many significant improvements, including the ability to specify UN/LOCODE in requests, receive calculations of the route distance and transit time for multimodal transportation, and access alternative routes.
  • In addition, the tool has a logic for determining the optimal route, so you do not have to specify the type of transport. If required, you can also specify the necessary types of transport to build a route.
  • Finally, you get comprehensive data from shipping lines, backed by auto-updating of the database, advanced statistics on sea routes, and expanded data for each location.
  • For web access, we have improved the web version of the Distance & Time tool on SeaRates.com due to the new version of the API. We have enhanced the accuracy of routes and added updated statistics for sea freight.
  • Ship Schedules updates: We are pleased to announce that we have added support for Seaboard Marine by Points.
  • Tracking System improvements: We have enhanced how we work with providers, including Evergreen, CK Line, Yang Ming, Eimskip, Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), Shipco Transport, and ECU Worldwide.
  • Other updates:
  • For Virtual Office, we have added Air Tracking to the 'Tools' tab - ‘General’ tab for an easy way to find statistics on web access, web integration, and API.
  • In addition, we have added a display of request limits for the web-integrated version of the Tracking System.

Announcements:

  • Carbon Emissions Calculator tool on SeaRates.com
  • Integration of Structural quote with Requests in the Virtual Office
  • Mobile Application V 1.1, which includes a new Tracking System feature
  • A new version of AI Assistant
