February 2024 Development Release: Empowering Business Users

The SeaRates team is grateful for your continued engagement and support. Every month, we release new features and improvements, and this month is no exception. We present you with the results of our hard work. If you subscribe to our SeaRates news feed, we will notify you when a new release is ready.

Go ahead and check out the new features and capabilities.

CO2 API

We are delighted to inform you that we have launched the CO2 API. The only necessary details you need to provide are your route points, transportation type, and cargo weight. In this way, you get the exact amount of carbon emissions for the type of delivery you choose, as well as monetary compensation for emissions for your customized requirements.

We have added a request ‘by lines’ to calculate the amount of emissions for the specified shipping lines. You can enter your route points and LOCODE to calculate emissions at transshipment ports and during transportation by other modes of transport.

Also, you can explore API documentation on our Developer Portal and API Carbon Emissions Calculator landing page.
