December 2022 Development Release: Empowering Business Users

We appreciate your interest in SeaRates! Each month, we release new features and improvements. If you subscribe to our SeaRates Blog Feed, we'll let you know when a new release is ready.

The following are the most recent changes you should be aware of.

New version of Tracking System

We are pleased to announce that the beta version of our new web-based Tracking System is now available. The following features are accessible to you:

You may now track your shipments using the container, booking, or bill of lading number. In addition, we now provide AIS data, and the route will be more precise.

If the right shipping line isn't chosen automatically, you can click the "Change" button to choose it manually.

You will have the ability to obtain detailed information about the vessel, including its name, its voyage number, and the shipping company that owns it.

You may now add tags to your shipments and sort them according to the tags you've applied. Additionally, you can update information for each shipment with a single click; simply click the Update button next to the shipment number to obtain the most recent details.

You can view the rates for your route and plan your next shipment with us.

You can now choose the map you want most to visualize the route from among four options.

Since this is a beta version, we have introduced a bug report button; if you notice a bug in our tool, please report it, and our technical support team will contact you when the issue has been resolved.

We’re proud to say that we have added support for NewStar and T.C. We now support a total of 122 carriers and 12 leasing companies, making our platform unique in its ability to support a wide variety of providers. You can find the updated list of shipping lines here.

Other SeaRates updates

We have updated the web integration manual for our services. Now, prior to integration, you can become more familiar with its functioning and details.

We have added the ability to view CO2 emissions in our Logistics Explorer tool. You will be able to view the calculation of the CO2 emissions for each destination by air.

In our Request an IT Quote tool, we've provided a link to each tool's description. Before entering your information, you may therefore learn more about each app.

Stay tuned for more updates!
