The Virtual Office profile is your own universe of boundless digital logistics, and the TMS panel is one of the available opportunities for transportation operators, fleet owners, carriers, and any logistics providers.
There is a menu on the left side, which includes the ‘Activity’ section with the ‘Transport’ tab — the panel for logistics asset management.
Here, you stay on the transport list. To start, press the ‘Add transport’ or ‘New Transport’.
This is the form to fill in transport unit details.
The general information contains different units, names, models, types, and numbers, as well as specified carriers. You will find lists of transport types for each Transport Unit.
The fields are changed appropriately to the units you choose.
Next, carriers provide the desirable or adjacent place of loading, and other details will be displayed to the shippers further.
Also, there is an instant option to specify the price of transportation, including the demanded currency and terms.
Optionally, write down additional information and attach images to provide more details about transport. This will be helpful for carriers to quickly account for transport units, as well as for shippers to get extensive service descriptions they’re applying for.
Finally, you’ve completed data accounting on transport assets. Go back to the transport lists to get the transport preview in the message about successful record saving.
Clicking on ‘Go to transport list,’ you can edit, duplicate, and update the data; delete; import in .xls and .xlsx formats; and generate the link to share info with any counterparties beyond the SeaRates network.
