SeaRates Updates - Week 22, 2025

What’s new for week 22:

  • Road Tracking enhancements: We are glad to announce newly added support for Kuehne + Nagel (KN). Kindly check our list of available carriers via API by following the link.
  • Container Tracking improvements: For API, we have improved our support of shipping lines, namely Arkas, Yang Ming, and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL).
  • Moreover, we have improved the detection logic of a container's type and size by description from the shipping line.
  • Air Tracking updates: For API, our team has enhanced support of airlines, including Finnair, Delta Air Lines, Air France, Cathay Pacific Airways, SF Airlines, China Cargo Airlines, and TAP Portugal.
  • Ship Schedules enhancements: We have improved our collaboration with shipping lines, namely Shipping Corporation of India and KMTC by Points, as well as Wan Hai by Vessel.
  • Geocoding/Autocomplete improvements: We have added translation for 30,000 worldwide seaports into 8 major languages
  • Furthermore, we've improved data searching for the top 200+ seaports across the globe to ensure information accuracy.


Other updates:

  • We've improved SeaRates AI by implementing our own language model and updating integration with the Logistics Explorer for smooth freight rate searching. 
  • Also, for the Carbon Emissions Calculator API, we have added an alternative calculation of CO2 emission by Coordinates in case there are no results by Carrier.
