SeaRates Updates - Week 17, 2024

At SeaRates, we value your devotion and continuously enhance the platform to deliver trust-worthy service. We're thrilled to announce our latest updates to improve your logistics experience. Stay informed by exploring our previous updates.

What’s new for week 17:

  • Ship Schedules enhancements: We enhanced our work with providers, including CMA CGM, to the ‘by Vessel’ tab.
  • For API V. 2.0, we have added a new field, including details such as the total number, used and remaining API calls, API calls made by different types of schedules, and the validity of the API key.
  • Tracking System improvements: For the web version, we replaced ETA TBA with predictive ETA to provide more accurate information to our customers. ETA is calculated based on historical line data.
  • For API, we changed the logic for determining the date in route-pol-date fields, prioritizing the vessel's departure date.
  • We are also pleased to announce that we have added support for one more line, Hoegh Autoliners. From now on, the total number of lines we support is 170.
  • Additionally, we have enhanced how we work with providers, including ECU Worldwide, Ocean Network Express (ONE), Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM), Matson Navigation Company (MATS), Yang Ming, Maersk, and Expeditors International Ocean.
  • Air Tracking API enhancements: We have enhanced how we work with providers, including Etihad Cargo.
  • Other updates:
  • Additionally, we added Copy Link functionality to the Carbon Emissions Calculator and changed the logic of filling out the CO2 amount scale so you can evaluate the environmental impact of your shipments smoothly and quickly.
  • We've added tooltips to the "Add truck" and "Add container" buttons in our Load Calculator tool. These tooltips explain that to select a different type of transport, you must first remove the one that is already selected.
  • In the Freight Index tool, you can now select the type of currency for displaying freight index data.

Announcements:
