How to find dry-port rate in Logistics Explorer?
Follow these seven easy steps to find multimodal rates in the Logistics Explorer for dry-ports:
- Go to our home page and click on Sea.
- Fill in the place of loading and discharge accordingly.
- Click on the type of delivery
- Click on Search.
- Click on the price that you need once you’re on the pricing page.
- Choose the origin or destination depending on which side requires multimodal transportation.
- Click on the place of discharge and the cost breakdown will show you the cost of multimodal transportation.
After that, the site will direct you to the Platform page, where you will be shown the rate, route, and transit time for the shipment you have requested. If you see "No Rate", this means that none of the existing forwarders in the Digital Freight Alliance have added a valid rate on this route. Simply click on the "Request a quote" button to get the most competitive offer available for the current month.
