What should I know about SeaRates Public agreement with Shippers?
1. SeaRates solely acts as an intermediary between you and the carriers, transmitting the details of your booking to the relevant shipping service provider and sending you a confirmation email on behalf of the shipping service provider.
2. It is not necessary to add cargo insurance. Insurance should be obtained through a local insurance provider, which we highly suggest. In addition, you should make certain that your freight is adequately insured with a carrier or an external insurance agency before shipping.
3. Invoiced amounts in USD should be prepaid.
4. Agents are not allowed to send phone/email or other contact information in the chat. They’re also not allowed to send any information about their company or hidden advertising, until the customer accepts the offer.
