What does “Indicative” rate mean?

There are freight indications on the market, and some rates on the platform are computed based on 80+ parameters when the real spot rate is not available. So the real rate along availability of space & transport (containers, trucks, space on vessels, schedule, etc.) must only be confirmed by the real local agent on the actual date.
