SeaRates Updates - Week 13, 2025

Your ongoing support of SeaRates is appreciated. We are presently very excited about presenting fresh improvements that will better support your business needs. We continue to place a premium on enhancing our offerings.

  • Tracking System enhancements: For the web version, we have added tracking of 25 exception types which you can find in the shipment card by the 'Exceptions' tab — every change in departure time, ETA, or updates provided by shipping line. 
  • For the API, we have implemented logic for container number validation.
  • Moreover, we have added detailed data on vessels and departure & arrival locations for each piece of a route in the Route API.
  • Finally, we have made enhancements to our collaboration with shipping lines, including Ignazio Messina, COSCO, Hapag-Lloyd, Pacific International Lines (PIL), CMA CGM, American President Lines (APL), Australia National Line (ANL), CNC (Cheng Lie Navigation), Maersk, Swire Shipping, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), and Cordelia Container Shipping Line.
  • Ship Schedules improvements: We have improved our support for providers, including Shipping Corporation of India and Swire Shipping by Points, as well as Swire Shipping by Vessel.
