February 2026 Development Release: Empowering Business Users

Throughout the month, our team has been working on refining SeaRates solutions to better align with your operational and business needs. These improvements are designed to deliver consistent value and reliability.

For reference, you may want to review last month’s updates before exploring the latest changes.

Vessel Tracking

We’re pleased to share that web integration for the Vessel Tracking tool is now available. Find the integration code and documentation in the Developer Portal to easily embed vessel visibility directly into your own website.

In addition, we’ve enhanced vessel search logic to improve speed and result accuracy.

The vessel card and landing page below the web tool have also been refined, offering a smoother user experience.

Parcel Tracking

This month, Parcel Tracking became fully available as a web tool within our unified Tracking System. You can now monitor parcels globally with real-time updates, predictive ETA, route details, and full movement history.

We’ve also added carrier logo display and manual carrier selection to the web tool.

On the API side, route logic, location detection, and request processing have been upgraded to ensure more stable and accurate results. Updated documentation is available in the Developer Portal.

Finally, carrier collaboration continues to grow. The Parcel Tracking API now supports 2,417 global and regional carriers, significantly expanding global shipment visibility.

Container Tracking

Carrier and shipping line coverage continues to expand. Support has been added for Africa Express Line, New Guinea Pacific Line, and Charter Link Logistics, bringing the total number of supported shipping lines in the Container Tracking API to 224.

Routing logic has also been upgraded to improve tracking consistency and data reliability across trade lanes.

Air Tracking

Airline coverage has expanded with the addition of the 5 airlines: ASL Airlines France, ASL Airlines Ireland, Bulgaria Air, Cyprus Airways, Shandong Airlines, and My Freighter (Centrum Air).

The Air Tracking API now supports 446 airlines, strengthening global air cargo tracking and improving overall data completeness.

Flight Schedules

February marks the release of the Flight Schedules API. The solution currently provides schedule data from 20 airlines and carriers, supporting more structured planning and air freight coordination.

API documentation is available in the Developer Portal for seamless integration.

AI Assistant

We’ve enhanced the AI Assistant in the Virtual Office by adding chat history management. You can now rename and delete conversations, making it easier to organize your workspace and keep communication structured.

Logistics Explorer

We’ve implemented an API connection for insurance calculation within the Logistics Explorer API. Insurance cost can now be calculated during booking creation by activating the Insurance option and specifying the invoice amount.

This update adds greater transparency into insurance costs during the booking process for you to make more informed decisions.

Ship Schedules

We are glad to present added support for Don Young by Vessel, Dongjin Shipping and BOCS by Port, as well as for Eucon and Fednav by Points.

Additionally, we’ve enhanced seaport search via LOCODE and improved the “Search Again” functionality on detailed schedule pages to make planning more convenient and precise.

Booking System

Webhooks are now available within the Booking System API. You can receive real-time notifications for booking events — including created, updated, and status_changed — and subscribe only to the events relevant to your workflow.

Detailed API documentation is available in the Developer Portal.

Geocoding API

We’ve upgraded the Geocoding API by expanding autocomplete functionality, improving mapping manageability, and increasing transparency through auditing improvements.

Railway terminal search by name has been refined, and airport search is now available by name and IATA code within the SeaRates Autocomplete service.

Other updates

For the Distance & Time, the “Fast” route mode has been updated to improve routing efficiency and deliver more practical route calculations for time-sensitive logistics scenarios.

Finally, performance and design enhancements have been introduced for the Request System, Rate Management System filtering, Logistics Explorer interface, Freight Index tool, and the Virtual Office mobile version — including updated Chat functionality.

February may be short, but it’s been packed with progress at SeaRates.

Stay tuned for more updates — and follow us on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram so you never miss what’s next.
