SeaRates Updates - Week 7, 2021
We would like to express our gratitude to our customers and partners for their consistent feedback. We are always working to improve SeaRates’ current features and introduce new ones. Here are the latest updates you need to know about.
This week, we’ve made improvements to the way we work with shipping lines such as Jin Jiang Shipping, Neptune Pacific Direct Line (NPDL), Wan Hai, COSCO.
We have added support for five more shipping lines:
- CK Line
- Mitsui O.S.K. Lines
- Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line)
- Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line)
- Samudera Shipping Line
We support a total of 90 shipping lines and 12 leasing companies. This makes our platform one of the few that offers support for so many shipping lines.
You can visit the updated list of shipping lines here.
We are also working to improve the stability of the Tracking System API.
We have added a new functionality. You will now be able to share the link of a specific rate with your clients.
You need to select the origin and destination of the shipment and any additional services, if needed.
Click on the ID and you will be automatically redirected to the rate page. Copy the URL and share it with your clients.
This week we have updated our Ship Schedules tool. Now, you will have access to the feeder schedule.
Feeder transportation is especially in demand in shallow water regions, where the draft of large container vessels prevents them from approaching the berth.
We have fixed the software bugs this week and improved the work of our tool, namely, the sorting of rates.
Now you can sort your rates faster by 3 parameters: cheaper, faster and optimal.
When you’re searching for rates, you will also have access to information about the logo and company name.
We have added a new function. You can now easily add your FCL Door to Port and FCL Port to Door rates on the Virtual Office through an excel file.
We are working on adding a new functionality, which will show you how many of the same boxes can be stuffed into the container, when you’re adding cargo.
We are also working on improving the conversion of container and pallet sizes.
You can also expect a description to be added on each container so that you can select the container you want.
