SeaRates Updates - Week 20, 2026

SeaRates continues to develop through consistent platform enhancements. We focus on improvements that support efficiency and ease of use.

We recommend reviewing last week’s updates before moving on.


What’s new for week 20:

  • Virtual Office enhancements: We have improved the design of the VO Profile by improving quick access to logistics apps and notifications flow.
  • Also, we have added the unread counter to the Inbox.
  • Air Tracking improvements: We have improved our support of airlines, namely Air Greenland, American Airlines, Air Premia, MNG Airlines, and ASL Airlines Belgium.
  • Container Tracking enhancements: We have improved our collaboration with shipping lines, namely Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), Wan Hai, Hapag-Lloyd, M-Line, and Crane Worldwide Logistics.
  • Distance & Time updates: For the API, we have upgraded the logic of location determination
  • Ship Schedule enhancements: We've improved collaboration with worldwide shipping lines, including Gemadept by Points, as well as NPDL and UAL by Vessel.
  • AirRates improvements: For the Flight Schedules, we are glad to present the addition of the two airlines: Korean Air and Finnair. Access timetables for available airlines via API documentation.
  • Booking System updates: We've made a range of updates to the Booking API, as well as the Tracking tab in the Booking System. This way, we added event display based on the received shipment data and data updates from the Tracking API when a container number is included in your booking.
  • Also, the option to download an invoice has been added to the Payment tab for shippers.
  • Moreover, added the ability to add new events, and they are sorted automatically based on the specified date.
  • Geocoding API improvements: We've updated the logic for port mapping and geodata processing, including adaptive port ranking by relevance based on distance and name similarity, as well as improved port type identification by checking navigable waterways based on OSM.
  • Also, we have added support for fully and partially navigable rivers/channels to correctly identify river ports and dry ports.
