We were pleased to join the gathering of world leaders in the logistics and freight transportation industry, June 18-20, 2025, at the Fira de Barcelona – Montjuïc Exhibition Center, Barcelona, Spain, at SIL Barcelona 2025. Conference highlights
The SIL Barcelona 2025 program offered over 70 sessions with more than 350 experts focused on critical vectors of logistics and booming supply chains. There was an emphasis on the following fields:
- Technological innovation & Industry 4.0: Real cases of robotization and implementation of advanced technologies were shown, including the use of robots in warehouse and shipping processes.
- Artificial intelligence in road transport: Encountered AI in road transportation-from route forecasting to fleet optimization.
- Sustainability and decarbonization: Showed real practices of sustainable transport and green logistics.
- Digitalization & automation of supply chains: The digital supply chain sessions included live demonstrations by Hedyla Technologies and Zona Franca Barcelona of solutions to ensure end-to-end visibility and control of the supply chain.
- Urban logistics and last-mile delivery: The smart warehousing and last-mile delivery solutions were discussed.
- Multimodal terminals & port 4.0: Intelligent platforms for ports (Stand D466): Port 4.0, BlueTechPort, and RegenPorts initiatives have covered the digital transformation of port infrastructure.
Special Tracks Tech by SIL & BWAW by SIL: On the 18th of June, Tech by SIL addressed green logistics, digital tools, and Industry 4.0, while on the 19th and 20th of June, BWAW addressed technology and gender diversity, sustainable future, gender issues, and geopolitical challenges.
The conference also included the Startups Innovation Hub and the SILvIA Platform for networking, which were interactive platforms that enabled participants to share their thoughts, network, and even forge new collaborations.
