The SeaRates team is grateful for your support and loyalty. We are always aiming to improve our platform to provide you with the best possible service. We are delighted to present you with our updates and believe that they will be useful to you.

To keep up with our latest updates, be sure to check out our previous updates.

What's new for week 31:

  • Tracking System updates. We are pleased to present the Tracking System Version 3.0 tool. There are new features and improvements to the tool that you can try out on SeaRates.com. You can easily track your shipments by container, booking, and bill of lading numbers and obtain detailed information on vessels, routes, and much more.
  • We have implemented a large standardization of the Tracking System API in accordance with DCSA, adding 2 new fields Event Type (which can take the values SHIPMENT, TRANSPORT, EQUIPMENT) and Event Code (which can take the values LOAD, DEPA, ARRI, etc.). This improvement will help the user identify what the event is related to (transport, container, or shipment), and the type of event, which is described differently by various shipping lines.
  • In accordance with the new features of the tool, we have updated the version of the History API.
  • Finally, we have made enhancements to the way we work with providers, including Ocean Network Express (ONE), Wan Hai, Yang Ming, COSCO, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), CMA CGM, Maersk, Pacific International Lines (PIL), Mariana Express Lines (MELL), SITC Container Lines, and Sealand.
  • Ship Schedules enhancement. We have made improvements to the way we work with providers, including the CMA CGM, APL, ANL, CNC, and Tanto by Points tab and the T.S. Line by Vessel tab.
