Three days of innovation: Agenda details for GFS 2024
1st Day
The great days of GFS have just begun, and we immediately felt proud of our work and grateful for the support of our beloved clients and partners. SeaRates logos were the brightest star in every corner of Dubai Expo City at Global Freight Summit 2024!
The first day is always well remembered for the many emotions, impressions, and meet-ups. The theme of the conference 'Acting on the Opportunities of a Changing World' immodestly raises expectations, and the morning of the first day of Global Freight Summit 2024 celebratively began with a greeting words by Mike Bhaskaran, Chief Operations Officer at DP World, and then, a special discussion and audience Q&A with Jim Yong Kim, 12th President of the World Bank.
The conference kept up the pace and continued to satisfy our thirst for new knowledge with rich speeches by Tony Fernandes, CEO, Capital A, who built Asia's largest low-cost airline, AirAsia, panel discussions with diamond insights on global trade, financing, supply chain aspects, and more. We also had the opportunity to attend speeches by Hadi Badri, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Economic Development Corporation, H.E. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO, DP World, H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and H.S.H. Prince Michael von Liechtenstein, Founder and Chairman, Geopolitical Intelligence Services.
