How does it work?
The first version of the AirRates Mobile Application provides access to the Air Cargo Tracking features on iOS and Android. Using the improved Air Cargo Tracking API allows you to take advantage of the following benefits of air freight monitoring:
- To access the Air Tracking tool, find the ‘Tools’ tab in the menu and choose Air Tracking.
- All it takes is simply to enter the air waybill number provided by the carrier or shipping lines and start tracking for air freight in real-time.
- There is an air shipment card displaying one’s number, ETA, status (booked, received, departed, in_transit, arrived, notified, delivered, or canceled), cargo info, and airline, as well as a route visualizing on the interactive world map.
- The ‘Details’ tab summarizes such significant info for quick tracking analysis as flight number, transport type, places of origin/destination, and ATD & ETA or ATA. Furthermore, there is a ‘History’ tab with the entire air shipment description and route details on each transshipment point, logistics events, flight information, and more.
- Moreover, you can delete the shipment card from the saved or copy the automatically generated link to this particular air shipment to provide unique access to the tracking information for your customers and partners. The link will go to the shipment card on AirRates.com.
This way, any current details on air cargo are available with the accurate real-time monitoring solution on users’ mobile phones.
