SeaRates Updates - Week 40, 2023

The SeaRates team appreciates your loyalty and is grateful for your feedback. We are constantly improving our platform to provide the best service possible. We are delighted to present you with our updates and believe that they will be useful for you.

What's new for week 40:

  • Load Calculator updates. We are switching the web-integrated Load Calculator tool to a new version for all our existing customers. All clients who used the old version of the tool will be automatically redirected to the new one, which is now available for web integration. If you would like to integrate the old version of the tool, please contact your personal SeaRates Account Manager.
  • Tracking System enhancements. We have improved the auto-detection logic; now the type, number, and shipping line detection will work even better.
  • Also, we have made enhancements to the way we work with providers, including Samudera Shipping Line, Atlantic Container Line (ACL), Grimaldi Deep Sea S.P.A., Maersk, Sunmarine Shipping Services, Hapag-Lloyd, COSCO, Sealand, Asyad Line, Hamburg Sud.
  • Finally, we have improved the logic of receiving a list of shipments using the Historical API.
  • Ship Schedules improvements. We have improved the way we work with providers in the by Vessel tab, including KMTC, Tarros, and Sinokor.


Announcement

  • In the near future, users of our web-integrated version of the Tracking System and Load Calculator tools will be able to obtain detailed information about their consumption through unique shipments and requests in Virtual Office and plan their business operations ahead. Also, for all users of the web-integrated version of the Tracking System, version 3 will soon be available with the ability to track by bill of lading number, booking number, and container number.
  • A new version of the Request a Quote form will be released, featuring the uploading of images and documents.
