SeaRates Updates - Week 28, 2023

The SeaRates team is grateful for your feedback and support. We are fully committed to improving our platform to provide you with the best possible service. We are proud to present you with our updates and believe that they will be useful to you.

What's new for week 28:

  • Tracking System improvements. We have made enhancements to the way we work with providers, including COSCO, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), Ocean Network Express (ONE), Shipco Transport, Swire Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd, and Yang Ming.
  • We've improved the Tracking API by adding a new parameter "is_additional_event" to the container information. This parameter indicates whether the event is provided by the shipping line or generated from additional data. We have added the "order_id" parameter as well, which means the sequential number of the shipping event. This parameter helps sort event data, avoiding mistakes in the chronology of events.
  • We have also improved the logic of route generation according to the PREPOL, POL, POD, and POSTPOD events.
  • Moreover, you can find the updated Tracking API Documentation here
  • Ship Schedules enhancement. We have made improvements to the way we work with providers, including the KMTC, ZIM, and NCL by Points tab.
  • Other updates:
  • We are improving the functionality of the Logistics Map tool and have implemented the ability to specify the date range of the "Ready to load" field in the Filter.
