SeaRates Updates - Week 50, 2020

Here at SeaRates, we would like to express our gratitude to our customers and partners for their consistent feedback. Our aim is to keep improving our tools and services while introducing new solutions, and today we are happy to share our latest updates.

If you missed our previous updates, please make sure to read it here.

SeaRates redesign

Through our design experiments, we have come to realise that a good interface is a seamless one.

People spend a huge amount of time on large platforms and as such, the design layout should be simple and pleasing to the eye.

Here are some of the updates we have made to the SeaRates' design:

1. Minimalism and simplicity

1. Only the most necessary functions for the user are in the foreground.

2. The interface is light and airy. Content remains at the center.

4. Maximum attention to detail.

5. The interface is "invisible", but intuitive and convenient.

2. Shadows and gradients

We've edited the on-trend shadows and gradients to appear lighter with more volume along with pastel gradients.

This adds to our theme of minimalism

Complex gradients and blur effects on SeaRates

We have also added the colour blur effect to the interface in the background, giving depth and dimension to the platform

Redesign of IMO classes and Container Dimension pages

We've redesigned our pages in accordance with the above mentioned guidelines and trends. You can now see the new design of the IMO Classes page here, and the Container Dimension page here.

Tracking System

This week, we’ve made improvements to the way we work with shipping lines such as Sinokor, CMA CGM, Emirates Shipping Line, Yang Ming.

All prior errors related to a container search for any of these shipping lines have been fixed as well.

Digital Freight Alliance development

The DF Alliance now has 842 members from 190 countries. New members were added this week from the Maldives, Panama, Nepal, Curacao, and more.

The DF Alliance continues to receive positive feedback from members starting their journey with the logistics network of the new generation.

Stay tuned for DF Alliance updates on LinkedIn and Twitter.
